Terms of use
These terms govern the use of Pisopedia. By creating an account or publishing a review, you accept them.

What Pisopedia is
Pisopedia (pisopedia.com) is a platform where people who have lived in a rental home in Spain share their experience, and where future tenants read it before signing. Landlords and agencies can claim the homes they manage and reply publicly to their reviews.
Pisopedia is not an estate agency and does not broker rentals: it takes no part in the contracts and does not verify the identity of the landlords mentioned in reviews.
Who can use it
To publish content you need an account. There are two types:
- Tenant account: lets you write reviews of homes you have lived in.
- Professional account: for landlords and agencies; lets you claim properties and reply to their reviews. Professional accounts cannot write reviews.
Your account
Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a one-time code. You are responsible for activity under your account, so do not share the codes.
Accounts are personal. If you notice activity you do not recognise, write to [email protected].
Reviews
A review tells your real experience in a home you lived in: the address, the contract dates and rent, your ratings and your texts. By publishing it you declare the experience is yours and truthful.
Every review is moderated before publication, and every edit goes back to moderation. The content rules (what gets published and what does not, how to report a review) are in the review and moderation rules.
You remain the author of your review. By publishing it you grant Pisopedia a non-exclusive, free, worldwide license to reproduce it, display it, adapt it to the site's format and translate it, for as long as it is published. You can edit or delete it at any time from your dashboard.
Professional accounts
Professionals can claim the properties they manage. Claims are reviewed before being granted and can be rejected if the relationship with the property is not proven.
Replies to reviews are public and follow the same content rules as reviews.
Limited reading
Some content may be subject to a reading limit for accounts without published reviews. Anyone whose review is approved gets unlimited reading. These limits may change; the current terms are always shown on the site itself.
What is not allowed
When using Pisopedia you agree not to:
- Publish fake reviews or reviews of homes you have not lived in, nor review properties you manage.
- Publish illegal, defamatory or discriminatory content, or content that includes other people's personal data.
- Harvest the site's content automatically (scraping) or try to bypass the technical measures and usage limits.
- Impersonate someone else or create accounts with email addresses you do not control.
Liability
Reviews are their authors' opinions. Pisopedia moderates them before publication, but cannot guarantee every statement is accurate and does not verify that the author lived in the home.
The same goes for questions and answers about buildings: they are user comments, moderated before publication, and Pisopedia does not check who writes them.
The site's guides, letter templates and tools are general information, not legal advice.
Pisopedia is provided «as is»: we work to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the «Last updated» date and notify you by email when the change is significant. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the competent courts are those of your place of residence.
